Hello family and friends,
We had a really good week this week. It was the last week of transfers and we ended on a high note with the baptism of Santiago. Hes the 10 year old son of our convert from about 3 weeks ago. He wanted me to baptise him so that was a good expirience. On a little bit sadder note my companion Elder Mielnikowicz got transferred so that was a little sad. This was by far one of the best transfers ive had in the mission. We worked really hard but also had a lot of fun. My new companion is coming from bogota and he gets here tomorrow. While im waiting im with the other elders here in aeropuerto. My new companion is elder rosales from peru. He is pretty new in the mission and ive never met him before but im looking forward to working for him. We also had a great sunday here. We had 11 of our investigators come to church and the other elders had about 10 so we had pretty good attendance. Im pretty excited for more time here in this area. We have a lot of people who are progressing really well and im really excited to keep working. It was a great moment to see santiago and his mom so happy after the baptism. Thats why i love this work so much. Although sometimes its really hard, hot and discouraging, its worth it to see the happiness that the gospel can bring. At first i looked at the mission as a sacrifice but now i wouldnt give up these 2 years for anything. I love and miss you all.
