Hello family and friends,

So this was a pretty good week for us, we had our first baptism here in Los Pinos for quite some time. This last Saturday we had a baptism for our investigator along with a family that the elders from kennedy were teaching. It was a great night and we had a lot of support from the ward. She was super happy afterwards and even more happy when she was confirmed a member of the church the next day. We’ve also got a baptism date for her younger brother on my birthday (happy birthday to me) and we are pretty sure it’ll work out. He is a great kid. We had a great time teaching this week, its was super fun. We did a whole lot of walking and I’ve now got a pair of shoes that are just about dead but they still work just fine. We’ve starting a huge effort with the ward leaders to get every ward member to be a missionary and so far its been awesome. WE have a whole of help right now. I’m pretty nervous that we have transfers next week but lets see what happens. That’s about all I’ve got for this week. I love and miss you all.

    Hi Zander,

We sure enjoy reading your letters every week. It’s hard to believe it’s almost 9 months since you started your mission. It sounds like this past week was very good for you. Keep up the good work. Grandpa and I have been going to the Dixie State University base ball games and we’ve enjoyed them a lot. Last week was the last of their home games. We’ve only missed one game this season. We’ve gone to some of the girls softball games and they play very well. Our dog Cocoa had a birthday recently as she was 3 on April 1st. We even bought her a dress. She loves going to the dog park and she’s such a joy to us. We’re looking forward to your Mom and 2 sisters coming for a visit over Memorial week-end. Today is Grandpa’s birthday and we’re having company tomorrow so that should be a lot of fun. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you on Saturday. Have a wonderful week.

    Love, Grandpa and Grandma.
