I just finished up my fourth week here in Pinos. Its pretty crazy, now that I’m senior companion the time is going by super rapido. Now that ive got to keep the conversation flowing, make a lot of the decisions, all the phone calls, and be a good example. I like it though and its definitely improving my Spanish a lot faster. We had a pretty good week this week. In this ward we have 3 youth who are preparing for the mission so we started to work with them and they are a great help for us. They get some good preparation for the mission and we get the help of the members. We both win. This ward is a great help for us, We have so much support and references. we also have been doing a lot of contacting and knocking on doors which up till this point in my mission has never been successful, but we will keep knocking. This week we also helped a few Colombian school kids with an English project and you might have seen the pictures on Facebook One of the girls is a daughter of an investigator and we are teaching her and her mom and they are progressing really well. My spiritual experience for this week was that on Thursday we had a day where all 7 of our appointments fell through. They either weren’t home or busy. I was pretty frustrated at the end of the day but when we got back to the house our security guard who we walk past everyday. His first question was what business we work for and after that we were able to share about the plan of salvation and the Restoration. Now we are teaching him a little message almost every night. My message that i learned from that was that even when you think nothing can go right something always works out. Well that’s about it for this week, i love and miss you all.
P.S. I saw a Colombian driving down the street in a 65 convertible mustang and i almost got killed trying to cross the street to talk to him. I took a picture.
